Hitomi began experimenting with fabric at the age of 15 and uses fashion to explore the beauty and elegance of dystopia. Hitomi majored in fashion design. She has a strong interest in working with a multitude of unique fabrics that allow her work to rise above and stand out in the scene.
In 2011, Hitomi started designing under the brand [damn]aged, a gothic-punk label consisting of alternative styles that drew inspiration from Victorian, cyber, futuristic, and post-apocalyptic elements.
In 2018, she retired the [damn]aged brand and the label changed to Hitomi K. Hitomi looks to self-reflection in order to fuel her work and leans towards alternative, couture, and avant-garde style.
