Hitomi began experimenting with fabric at the age of 15 and uses fashion to explore the beauty and elegance of dystopia. Hitomi resides in Minneapolis and majored in fashion design. She has a strong interest in working with a multitude of unique fabrics that allow her work to rise above and stand out in the scene.

In 2011, Hitomi started designing under the brand [damn]aged, a gothic-punk label consisting of alternative styles that drew inspiration from Victorian, cyber, futuristic, and post-apocalyptic elements.

In 2018, she retired the [damn]aged brand and the label changed to Hitomi K. Hitomi looks to self-reflection in order to fuel her work and leans towards alternative, couture, and avant-garde style.
